Life is full of obstacles, setbacks, and unexpected turns. After 25+ years in nursing and healthcare—much of it as an oncology nurse—I witnessed firsthand how mindset, grit, and resilience impact outcomes. At 50, I had a mid-life wake-up call and knew it was time to step away from healthcare and take on a new challenge.
That turning point inspired me to create something that could carry forward the lessons I’d seen in my career. Gritty Resilience was born from that moment—a way to channel my passion for strength and determination into apparel that represents the drive to persevere.

Gritty Resilience was created to capture that spirit: the grit, tenacity, and willingness to push forward through setbacks. Every design I create is a reminder to embrace your resilience, trust the process, and keep moving forward—because without adversity, there is no strength.
